Its casing is made from highly impact-resistant and UV-stabilised ABS plastic. The box can be opened from both sides and features triple central locking on each, making it easy to load and protecting it against theft. The roof box weighs 19 kg and fulfils the high BMW safety standards in terms of crash response, operational safety and long-term performance.
